Hey All,

Figured some of you may find this interesting. In my opinion the M156 was loosely based on much of what made the M119 so great and is essentially a Modernized beefed up version (although not quite as bulletproof..)

After completing M113/119/273 manual swaps and years of wanting to manual swap a w204 C63, finally acquired one that was right for the job. Here is Part I:

Cheers!
Hope I'll be back in a 034/036 someday!

No Adapter kits are necessary, the CLK63 is using the same transmission I am, one used a kangaroos team flywheel/clutch and the one featured on OTS used same OEM dual mass I am with a custom pressure plate and clutch designed from the OEM specs. SPEC clutch makes clutches that work as well already so no need for custom, I am using an OEM LUK C300 clutch.

Yes, my ESP/ABS was functioning properly before programming and has been programmed to manual now, minimal behavior change in that. I talked about the programming on mine including screenshots of what I did in the middle of part 2. The black series in my opinion needs more programming from what I have heard, if I was there in person with it I think I could figure it out but who knows.

Maybe someone will send a CLK63 my way eventually and I can show the process with no secrets or gatekeeping :) it's really not complicated, and all can be done with OEM parts

yea, thats bat for you... a lot of us from here get flagged for spitting facts, they dont like us there
Yep. GSXR no longer posts on BaHaT due to censorship. Douggie's Carz & Bidz is actually worse, believe it or not... he doesn't post there either. And, I had a similar problem with my first and only post at Peecar Market. Probably should start a new thread for everyone to share their censorship stories from the various online auction platforms.

Anyway. In this case, BaHaT is moderating your comment because you are a new user. I kinda understand this, although I still don't like it. However, @anderzen's comments timestamped yesterday afternoon (~6pm on 5/16) are STILL not appearing in the auction listing.

They will never tell you if your comment is not approved, it just never shows up. I will be watching this to see if the comment eventually appears, or if the Hearst overlords have deemed your fact-spitting somehow detrimental to the auction. [Edit - the comments were approved and appeared 5/17 AM, see post below.]

In the meantime, definitely copy/save your post if this happens, and/or screenshot it with the timestamp & save that too.

Hi all. I was invited as I am posting on this BAT thread. For background, I was part owner in evosport, and we did a lot of black series work. I also have a ton of track and street time in x63 chassis cars

I am really disgusted with this thread on BAT. The secrecy, the deletion of information, the intentional gatekeeping. It’s really a shame. We are car people. We never hid crap, like this.

proud to say i have one of @otoupalik 's cars, it's been great and i just got back from a cruise rn!

the Black Series sold for 138k plus fees... it was sold on bat for 88k in 2023 (reverted back to OEM spec) then sold to OTS before the manual conversion (cost15k)

Really curious if the new owner will post any feedback after taking delivery and spending some time driving an ESP-less BS stick shift.

:watchdrama:

years later we'll see how the dust settles on all this, we all just gotta keep enjoying these things as much as possible :)

for anyone interested in a conversion, I am doing customer cars but realistically only have bandwidth for 4-5 cars per year. feel free to reach out if interested. Old cars, new cars, V engines, in-line, 6, 8, 12 cyl, coupe, sedan, vert, limo, SUV lol I will figure it out!
cheers!
