Came across this listing, price is innocent? Could this be a scam or is it legit? Would not know how to spot that on German ebay.

VIN: WDB1240361B503579 forum search showed no results for this VIN/FIN.

Collective thoughts?

VIN wont tell you anything. I see some fake AMG items on that car as well. You would need to see the AMG stamp on the engine block to know for sure if it has a 6.0l motor. Also see no mention of it being a E60, aside from the badging.

Looks like badges only. Possibly, but very unlikely, to be a 6.0L engine and the seller not know about it.

Note the lack of AMG decals on the valve cover.

What does a prefacelift legit 6.0 engine airbox look like?

The Mercedes strips were replaced with the AMG logo OR no logo was used at all.

that is how my car has them, I meant pre facelift, the car in the listing here is a MY 1991 that has been facelifted.
2nd picture shows a pre face lift E60, converted via the ala carte program. If you want to go back even further, this is what AMG did on the SL500 for their SL60
