VIN = ???

This gent in Belgium is selling his car and he seems to have refurbished/restored absolutely everything. I don't think I have ever seen a nicer looking 500 E with more than 500k Kilometers on the odometer.

If I was in the market for a 036, then this would be one I'd look at real closely.

Moderator edit: 535kkm = 333kmi. :buggin:

Selling my W124 500E in absolute dream condition, with 535000km on the clock!

199 blue black with full leather grey.
Nice additional equipment with sunroof, rear blind, sound system, double memory seats, Becker radio, and the yellow fog lights ex works.

Bj 11/92 (interim model), delivered in FR. Up to 411,000km with the first owner, then up to 530,000km with the second, and then came to BE and last year made 1A with a complete repaint.

Always serviced by Mercedes and only original Mercedes parts used, the service booklet is completely full and then everything was written on the back pages. More than 100 Mercedes invoices... just ALL history there.

Almost everything has now been done, and connoisseurs know what it means what was listed here:

engine runs super clean thanks to everything from the new ignition, wiring harness top + bottom, timing chain with slide rails, cylinder heads made with new valve guides and ground valves, air flow meter, viscous fan, the rubber hoses, radiator, container, sealed pump, all the gaskets, sensors, fuel pumps, fuel hoses, engine mounts, etc etc... all the familiar m119 things. No oil consumption, nothing even on the last trip of 1000km. Last oil service a month ago. Has full power, pulls super strong and clean. Exhaust very good, new catalytic converters installed 5 months ago.

Transmission has been beautifully and completely overhauled. Just shifts perfectly and freshly serviced. Cardan shaft with new flex rubbers and center bearing.

Chassis got shock absorbers front and rear (of course original MB), rubbers and top bearings, both pressure accumulators, front wishbones, feeler rods, brake discs and pads, brake lines, freshly measured and drives without noise or rumble.

The 500'er just looks 1A. Paintwork was completely redone last year. Not a quick paint job but done very clean with doors etc out. Fully reground and highly polished, now with a ceramic coating from Gyeon on everything from paint, rims, plastic, and glass. Rims repainted with new caps. All stickers are new, chrome strips on the doors are new, down to the smallest details.

In the last few years, almost everything from door rubbers, mirror rubbers, door strips, etc. has been made new.
Headlights and fog lights also new glasses. Rear window good without milk corners.

Inside you can hardly see the mileage. The driver's seat was perfect again with a bit of leather paint and now it has very little patina and is not worn through. Headliner new with alcantara. All door panels are perfect.
The climate is freezing, everything works, nothing to report or do...

Rust issue? Nothing, the familiar places like spare wheel and battery floor, front fender corners, under the wash tank, sunroof, etc... everything clean.

The 500 is completely original, nothing has been tampered with, and with all the history and lover's story that comes with it, it's quite rare these days.

Please only serious interest.
Vehicle is in BE near Antwerp.
Last Belgian MOT was 100% faultless.

It will never sell at that asking price with that many miles/km on the clock. Just another guy who wants to get his restoration cost back. Could have at least fixed the cracks in the console and provided pictures of the undercarriage.
