More info below. I was acquainted with the owner of this car, and I know that he had sold it some time back. I have some photos of this car deep in my photo archives, but I'll have to dig to get them. I saw this car a number of times and it was one of the first 500Es I saw around Portland when I lived there. At the time it was honestly pretty ratty (cosmetically), and the owner told me it had some needs, but this was 10+ years ago. As I remember it, the AMG badge was on the car even back then.

My record on this car dates back from July, 2004, when this car was located in my former hometown of Portland, OR. At the time, it had 125,149 miles on the odometer.

Detailed notes: Portland-area car owned by local MBCA club owner. Seen it at the Vancouver concours and Maryhill 2004. Chrome ring surrounding shift gate; aftermarket stereo; aftermarket steering wheel; aftermarket tuner pipes. Aftermarket 18" wheels. Missing headlight wipers; significant stone damage especially to front of car. Really needs to be repainted.

UPDATE 11-10-07: Saw car at MBCA event at MBI Motors and got mileage and build date.

I know it's been a long time but I decided to give it a try...

Do any of you know what happened to this 500e? Who bought it? Maybe a member of this forum? What happened to it afterwards?
I know it's been in Poland for at least a year but I'm wondering what happened in between?

I ask because I’m looking for the current owner. This Mercedes has been standing abandoned for a long time and I would like to try to save it.

Any leads could be useful

I know, because almost every day I pass him standing in the parking lot on the street.... for a year or so, at the same place.
It's sad to see...

Unfortunately in Poland there is no option to officially determine the owner, and at any time the city office can tow it, because there are no plates on it

This is AutoCheck, which has less info than CarFax... no maintenance / service reports. Full report attached. Not much useful data.

It's not that easy... it's a big estate of blocks where lives hundreds of people, where every block is gated, with security etc (yes, we love that too... )

So yes, I talked to several security guys, several neighbors and no one knows anything

That's why I'm here!

There are only 8 owners on the map here showing as located in Poland so you have a very small chance of success here I fear.
