Maybe we can just have an annual 036 calendar? This way we can show other cars from year to year.
For the 2015 calendar, we should start with a post where all 036 owners show a number of pics of their ride(s) so all voting parties can have one place to view all entries. After that a poll should be done on which car's are to be selected for the calendar and owners of their car(s) should not vote on their own car(s). Maybe the second most selected cars would end up as the selection for the following calendar year.
With the number of 036's being small as it is, let alone active number of cars worldwide and this board and its 036 owners, selecting only factory equipped cars would limit the selection for the calendar. Afterall, we are gonna show the car more so than the mods done to it. Now...we could do theme-oriented calendars in the future, where mods like; wheels, paint, brakes, interior, exhaust, racing shots are the features.
Speaking of racing shots, I think we have less than a handful of 036 owners who track their cars, so unless we want to have a calendar with multiple shots of the same car, we need to ask some our 036 brothers to hit the track.
I would by any 036 calendar, having my own car in the calendar is not important to me, seeing 036's in a calendar is all I would want.
