Hi I've had to replace the captors of a 400E and to my big surprise when I opened it. It had chip with brabus sticker. Can someone inform me what to think of this. The car is not brabus nd is an original 400E
Would this E60 chip cause problems or what is the deal here.

Well, the LH modules, part numbers are not interchangeable between 400E and 500E, I'm quite certain some technical factors involved that would prevent the vehicle's correct operation (to what degree, I have no clue...) and one would assume that a 6.0L module configuration would take those even further apart.

That said, looks like you've got a little gem of LH there :wow:

Eksactly. My thoughts the same. It's a 400 engine for sure. But how would this sticker then end up in the LH module. It's a puzzle I can't figur out. The module had been opened before as some screws were missing. But it's strange as you now can inform as well that this module if had 6.0 check version should not be able to run well in the 400 but it ran fine no problems. But a clicking fuel pump relay made me change the capacitors and then I found that. 🤔
It looks like an euthentic sticker.

I would ask GSXR about this but I would think that difference would be in fuel, spark and the AFM- meaning that the fuel mapping is all off. Were there any drivability issues?

The only way to tell what program is on that chip with a Brabus label, is to read the software and analyze it. I'd be happy to do this, but you either need to send me the EPROM chip, or read the software with an EPROM reader and email me the .bin file for analysis. I can tell you what displacement the fuel curves are, etc...
