A bit too far and pricey ($9,200 pre-bid, really?) for me. Sad, hopefully someone restores it, can't be too many Pearl Gray cars left.

Yeah - it will cost ±$10k to fix correctly. I like Pearl Gray too, but $20k for a salvage title car is a smidge on the high side.

And that's BEFORE the Honcho-required ~$5k in deferred maintenance!!

Albeit sad, It does tend to benefit the value of the cars that remain.

I suspected Klink might have a sad. B'lieve he has a special pace in his heart for 122 paint (as do I... and probably Sauceman too.)

Hope someone saves it, definitely is fixable, just not cheap to fix.

+1 the that color is beautiful. Although I agree the numbers don't make sense (at least at the moment) I really hope someone saves this car. However if not I have first dibs on the trunk left and right carpet pieces.

😁

There are some large businesses in the Roanoke/Salem area, with highly compensated executives. It is certainly not Washington DC, but there are some very nice cars in the area....

On the Proxy page we have access to, it shows $14,754, not sure if that was the winner of the proxy bid only, or the final bid.

Either way, after repairs it's a $20K plus investment in a Salvage title car, OUCH!
