94 E320 Transmission Mount

Just replaced the transmission mount a/k/a rear engine mount on my E320.. Mount was in pretty good shape but didn't have history on this part. Factory part still available. COO Germany. VERY restricted space due to the flex disc and a metal plate with sides that is used. The only tool you can use is a 19mm box end wrench which has a thin wall construction. In other words an expensive piece. Had to spring for a new Craftsman 5 pc. set at Lowes, $27. No big deal. Job went smoothly but no way to set torque to specified 75nm. I used blue Loctite and made it 'good n tight'.

Regards,

Peter
