Worked last year, now that we have summer again, I want to close the windows by holding the key in the door. But it has stopped working... What's going on?

Does it work from any of the 3 locks (front doors or trunk)? If not, could be the convenience module... worth a try anyway.

I've replaced them in both cars. It's an impressively complex-looking relay.
Coming back to this now, do you still have the module and what would you be asking for it? I am in Michigan. Also, I am seeing 2 part numbers: 1248203236 and1248203126...

My car also just had the auto close function failed last week. I noticed that the clock didn't work as well. I noticed the fuse was burnt out so I swapped out the fuse and the clock started working again. 2 days later it stopped working again. I haven't checked since I just noticed it this morning while driving to work and I am thinking the fuse blew out again. Is the the convenience module that is failing?

I believe the convenience module and the clock are on separate circuits. The 2 issues shouldn't be related...

Thanks for your reply Dave. The fuse I replaced was Fuse #9. It was a white fuse. The description says diagnostic term.6, hazard warning system, clock, front roof light, radio, vanity mirror light, relay comfort circuitry term.86.

So I found out that it could be my visor light that is shorting out the fuse. I noticed that one of the wires to the light was loose. Sometimes when I park in the sun with the visor down, the whole light falls out of the visor and I noticed that one of the wire to the back of the vanity mirror was loose.
I double checked the other locks and it seems like the auto window up works with the passenger door lock but not the drivers door, so I guess the convenience module is working. It must be the driver's door lock that is the culprit. Not sure what's wrong with it.
