It's all in Norwegian, but the story is about a former jet fighter pilot who was disabled in a helicopter crash in 1968. After restitution he became a chief officer and manager at one of our military squadrons. But he could never fly again after that heli crash, but was given a special gift on his 50 year anniversary. They prepared his handicap car with a F5 Freedom Fighter control pod!
The pilot passed away in 2010. His widow says it was first used in an E-class, but later on moved over to this C240. All controls and buttons are working for blinkers, lights, wipers etc.. Push forward is drive, and pull is brakes.
(the last image is from a Bell 412 using the same control pod as the F5, just to show that it is a real one)
