cleaning condensor coil and radiator?

Guys,

Anyone done a in-the-car effective condensor coil cleaning. I picked up some coil cleaner from HD for <$6. With the car cold, I pulled the radiator clips and got a little angle, then soaked and soaked it with cleaner. Hosed it off after 15 minutes really good. It looks much better, but it's NOT clean yet. I'm afraid, it will require radiator removal.

I will try removing the fan shroud and Fan first, see if I can get a little more clearance and back wash the radiator fins better. I see inbetween them there is still some grass debris on the radiator.

in the past (on another vehicle) I've used WD-40 - soaked it for a few hours and then degreased with orange degreaser and hot water from a garden hose nozzle. This has worked very well. I think the WD-40 breaks down road tar, bugs, etc.

I also let the radiator come up to temp before, which loosens things up, too.

Compressed air is your best friend... ideally when everything is completely dry. I'd blow it out first, before using the liquids. It can be a real pain to fully clean out all the junk. Either way it's a messy job.
