Driveshafts/half shafts :)

and i turned it into GOLD :)"laughs" :)
Gotta have that "custom" touch..either you like it or not :9I think it looks pretty fresh :)

Also just did a Driveline upgrade on my 190e "EvoLtwin"
Upgraded to Evolution 1 differential, overhauled unit, new bearings, shims, seals and the lot...3.27 ratio, and Rebuilt my driveshafts/Halfshafts...

Filled up with my favourite oil brand..and to my big surprise it was the recomended oil for the diff aswell

And of course tightened ALL bolts with the correct tightening torque

So now the 500e is up next..replacing output seals on the diff..and fit my new driveshafts
:)
Greetings :)

Very nice, but why you have two different axle flanges in this diff ?
hey
thanx alot :)The big flange is a balancing "flange"...they just come this was from factory.i really havent gotten into the proper reason why they did this..but...as far as i know..it has to do with balancing.caus it has "drilled" holes...in it..so they were obviously balanced in some way

greetings :)

hehe very good question
I have bought 4 new boots for the driveshafts on the car..and i was going to restore them...just clean ..and put new grease in them..and paint them up

but i found these for sale on Ebay..in the States..and i couldnt resist the price..as they do not grow on treeeees :)

so i jumped right at em..and got them home :)
So now i can just do an easy swap..and restore the ones on the car..when i feel like doing so :)

they are used..but taken of a low mile car :)But in perfect condition..not a grain of rust on them..and no play in the cvjoints
