Me and a few E500E friends will be at the Valt Auto Club cars and Coffee this Sunday, Oct 11th, at 9-11AM at the USS Hornet - 707 W Hornet Ave, Alameda CA. Join us! Great setting and a tasteful C and C crowd that would appreciate a few 124.036's along w the other awesome things that are there.

Thanks! If this were 2019 I would be there —- the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier is a great backdrop for this! That said it is 2020, and with the big crowds that have been showing up at car meets lately @ the Hornet, even outside, I will be extra cautious and take a pass. I am still being super selective about outside contact given the ongoing pandemic ..... even if all of us have pandemic fatigue.

Yeah. Love the Miura. So much nicer than the gauche Countach. @dionphaneuf ... is the yellow Miura the Miura that @psportoveloce is/was restoring?

A bit of trivia I learned last night... Eddie Van Halen who just passed away days ago owned a Miura for many years. It's likely still in his families possession. The sound from the car can be heard on the early song Panama.

I hope the show goes on before any of this rain gets up there.
