Hi Everyone,

I am the happy (3rd) owner of a black 93 500E (vin: WDBEA36E1PB873101). I still don't have many good pics of the car from here in CT but here are some of the seller's photos from CA (more here). The car lived its first life in Portland, Oregon then moved to San Francisco with the second owner a few years ago.

I have wanted a 500E for a few years now and finally bought one this Fall. I spoke with one e500e site member in San Francisco who was selling his car but missed that one. Luckily, he had an acquaintance who was selling his '93 500E as well and we made a deal. The car was shipped from San Francisco to Connecticut mid- November and I finally picked it up last week after I had some basic maintenance performed.

The car has close to 200k miles on it but a lot of the important maintenance and some improvements have been performed (new harness, timing chain, metal oilers, 400e first-gear start valvebody, regular basic maintenance with receipts, etc). The previous owner put on the Aero II's. They look sharp but I am wondering if I might go in another direction. I'm not sure yet, and there's no rush. I have the original wheels as well which is nice.

I couldn't be happier with the car, it's in good shape, though I do have a few projects to work on. I'm hoping to buy one of amgdave's last LH modules which will be nice!

This site has been so helpful, I appreciate all of the great content. My wrenching knowledge is pretty limited so it has been invaluable. I also want to thank amgdave for his feedback while we figured out which LH module I currently have on the car and for his input on another issue I've been having. But I'll post about that later.

Congrats on the new ride, fherdeg! Looks sharp. Current wheels look better than what was shown in the 2023 classified ad, but if you'd like a change, they are easy to swap. Just replied to your email about the LH module, apologies for the delay...

Thank you for pointing out the previous listing! I had not seen it. I agree I like the new wheels better but I wonder if I might change back to stock one day or perhaps Aero III's. I realize those are two very different directions...

No apologies are necessary on the LH module, I look forward to receiving it! Thanks again.
