Free to good home: A/C compressor for later cars

I decided I’m not going to bother re-sealing my original A/C compressor. The compressor works fine; the clutch and/or the RPM sensor may be bad, and require replacement. No leak at the front seal.

free to a good home; just pay the postage for the 12-pound box. Ideal as a spare or if you want to rebuild/reseal a compressor.

Comes with the six-rib belt pulley for later cars. Oil has been drained. You can see photos in my A/C Compressor Replacement HOW-TO thread.

I would like to tinker with this if it’s still available

Absolutely is. I'd be happy to ship it in the box that the replacement came in. It weighs about 12 pounds. Contact me off-line. I just ask shipping cost. I believe the compressor itself is just fine -- it's either the clutch or RPM sensor that is bad. Both are pretty easily replaceable. Is not leaking externally.
