That price is lunacy. Maybe if it had a 7.4L M120 and looked new inside & out, and was being sold by Bodo... but otherwise...

I'm happy someone put a price on the wagon swap. Agreed the price is high but it is an involved swap with a lot of details that needs to be met in order to have the spirit of a 500e.

Mercedes-Benz 500 TE Artz special conversion from 2.Hand. A converted just two of Günter Artz 500 E Limousine for T model. This vehicle was the last private vehicle by Günter Artz. The vehicle is well documented (board folder, operating instructions, Service book, new car invoice and a comprehensive vehicle file with various invoices and supporting documents).

Günter Artz has many exotic conversions on vehicles carried out such as the Cordet (Opel Kadett / Chevrolet Corvette), Golf 928 (VW Golf / Porsche 928) and many more.


The model was revised very extensive in recent years. All invoices in the amount of approximately € 55,000 - for this work are!
