For sale is a proper ABS/ASR computer for the 500E and E500, as well as ASR-equipped 400E and E420 models. This unit came from a 1994 E420 model, and is 100% proper for the E500E.

Ideal as a spare unit. Price is $100 shipped -- a good deal. $85 cost + $15 shipping via US Priority Mail.

Hey thank you. I apologize for not being clear. I do need an ABS/ASR for a W140. (S420)
Love the "slowing growing thing"! Mine just blew up on me like a Imperial Destroyer coming out of light speed. It's just ludicrous! (As in speed).

Thanks for the clarification Unavita. Yes, the ASR computer for the 140 is different than the 124 platform. There is one in a 1995 S420 here in our wrecking yard, that was still there in the car last week. If I can get down there in the next day or two I can try to grab it for you -- would that be helpful?

ghm, I'll reach out via direct message. I have three ASR computers left, but two of them I am keeping for my own spare stock.

It could be but I went ahead and bought the [LH module] for which GSXR provided the listing. It will be here Tuesday. If it doesn't work I let you know. I "can" solder but I have no desire to do so on these boards. #capacitors.

OK. All of that S420's CAN modules were there, but I already have numerous 4.2 LH computers and EZLs from S models, so I didn't need that one, and never really gotten into selling 140-specific modules too much (though I have a couple of E-GAS ones as emergency spares for my E500). If you do have a need for the ASR module from that 140, do let me know as I can get it quickly before the car is crushed in the next 1-2 weeks.

Ok Honcho- We'll do! I will plug the one I'm getting in as soon as I get it. One thing I miss have so many cars is a good yard. The one- and THE ONLY ONE- here for MB rakes me across the coals. Want more than Ebay prices on some things! And I mean the high ebay prices. I should say if you have a good trunk like, front fender driver (black- not been painted before, no rust) and a tail lens passenger for said '95 I would be interested.
I do love the Porsche built E500 but I'm in love with the 110 cu. in of the interior of my 140. I have two little rats that ride in the back seat and they beat the hell out of my spouses ...ummmhmm... Ford SUV back of the front seats. They can't reach mine... yet. (Only the S has as much -actually more- interior space)
