:slosh: 6500 Plus tax and travel.Respekt .From my Wife i can Divovorce .But Yyou have Married this part for this price without split.
Good luck for you
Just pricing based on what I see online. Wait till you see what it’s worth in the future. Supply and demand. Simple economics

People can ask whatever they want, but it may take many years before anyone is willing to pay those prices. Which is fine, but you may take heat in the meantime, same as the sellers asking €5000 for 036 (RHT) Euro headlights.

I've got a pair of mint, zero-rust front fenders that I'd sell for the same price, along with a mint front bumper as well. Sold only as a package along with a complete rust-free 500E, including engine, transmission, interior, runs & drives. Minor damage in the rear end.

100% asking price and selling price are two totally separate things. You have a 500e for sale for same price as the fender? Dm me I’ll buy your car. Regret selling mine.

No, read carefully... $6500 for each fender and front bumper. Salvage title due to rear impact. $19,500 total. The days of finding $6500 complete cars are long gone.

6500$ for one fender its a lot when the dealer retail was about 2500$ for one fender when they were available but its not the heights price yet for a NLA part, one guy in Germany had left and right fender new old stock and his price was about 8000$ for one fender, in my opinion the price difference for a full car and NLA parts is not as big and when you put it all together its sound much better to buy a whole car then individual parts like fenders.

Lets say for example you need both fender that already 13k and maybe you need a bumper or a set of wheels already price goes up to 16-18k, might as well put a little bit more an look for a whole car.

I would put that fender in a dry storage and wait till this price will sound reasonable

Some people don’t want a used fender for their build. And or they can’t find one in the colour they need. If I wasnt moving, I would be selling it. But if it doesn’t sell. It will end up in a storage unit for another 5-10yrs lol

Also asking price and selling price are two different prices.

I expect people to lowball

These front fenders were $530 USD list, $424 USD wholesale, each... back in 2013.

The price has shot up to $2400 around when they went NLA (or, possibly after they went NLA).

I have been saying here for MANY years that the lower tier of condition 500E cars SHOULD BE SOLD AND BOUGHT AS PARTS CARS to keep others on the road. People have said no, mocked me, etc. saying that NO E500E should be a parts car unless it is totaled/wrecked, but I have never felt that is the case -- specifically for cars with poor exterior paint and materials, as long as they're not badly rusted.

Nowadays, we are not far from the point where buying a lightly wrecked or low-condition parts car for $12-15K is making a lot of sense, if you can sell some of the NLA and difficult to find parts in good condition for good money. I can see used fenders in decent condition going for $1,500 each. Two parts easily removed -- that's 20-25% of your initial investment. You start stripping off some of the other parts, selling the rear wheel fenders/lips, transmission, engine, and you're at 60-70% of your investment pretty quickly. A few more parts and there you go - you're even.

Then everything else is profit.
