To prevent the crack getting bigger I can advise you to put some thick PPF on the lenses like Hexis Body Fence or something similar thicker than 200 microns(bigger crack on that side, lol).
Yup - I currently have 20mil-thick (~500 micron) Lamin-X film applied. These lights/lenses have been on the car for 15+ years, I can't remember if the crack/chip occurred before or after the protective film was installed.

I took Dave’s advice many years back and installed the 20mil Laminex on my brand new Euro E-Code headlights and they still look brand new and remain crack and chip free. I’m a happy camper!
