Me and gsxr were PM'ing about this, but does anyone have technical info on removing the bulb surrounds off of the reflectors for refurbishment? We cant find any literature or threads regarding the topic and my reflectors are A. Fading, and B. The bulb surround is corroded.

The bulb shield! seemingly press fit with tabs?
That small shield MIGHT be a press fit with the tabs bent on the rear, to lock it in place. See if it looks like there are slots which would align if the tabs were bent... could slide right out?

So I tackled this today on the fog lights, the main reflectors in the housing are bent tabs easy to bend) whereas the fogs are tabs plus a dimpled section securing the bulb cage over the reflector.
Easy enough drilled through the dimples VERY slowly and carefully and voila! They pop out.
