WANTED Heckblende

If anyone has a gently used, or NIB clear on red heckblende for W124 reasonably priced let me know! I see some knock off ebay joints but would prefer a slightly used OEM brand...

It's a piece of plastic that matches the taillight lenses that extends across the rear apron to, in effect, "connect" them. I've never seen a W124 version, but I've seen them for W126s. See attached for what it looks like installed.

They were made by Hella and Fifft. Can be found from time to time in Europe

FWIW, these don't fit facelift trunks. Also on later model pre-face lift cars, you have to remove the filler piece before you can install this item

This is right on. I installed one on my 93 Sportline and had to do exactly this to get it to fit. Found picture of car below.

I really like the dark-smoke Hella tails and had them on one of my cars. Very hard to find these days. You can make a rough imitation using a smoke-colored spray-paint coating...
