High Idle Speed w/DTC 6 on Diagnostic Module

While pulling into the driveway after taking the car for a test drive yesterday, my idle speed seemed to hang up at about 1,200 RPM. It stayed there regardless of whether it was in drive, neutral or park. I shut the engine down and pulled the codes.

I am getting a DCT 6 on the Diagnostic Module (socket 19), indicating the Idle Speed Control is inoperative. I restarted it several times since then and the idle is just fine.

Is there anything other than an ETA going bad that could cause this? Thanks.

Jon, what codes were you getting from pin 7 (E-GAS), and the other modules...?

I was expecting to see a DTC 3 on pin 7, but this time there was nothing. The only other codes were the usual -- DTC 4 on pin 19 (air pump inop) and dtc 21 on socket 6 (charge pump).
