Hi all , I drive a turbo benz , a 1990 190e 2.6 that me and my friend turbocharged ourselves. You can find the full spec and many more pictures and videos on Instagram under @thatblue_190e , but I’ll give a full overview here

Exterior :

Colour code , Deep blue 900
Front bumper , BMW E36 M3 / AC shnitzer lip
Cosworth Front fender flares
Evo 2 Rear fender flares
Rocketbunny Ducktail spoiler
Debadged front grille ( but I will be adding the front flat badge back on )
Kamei Sideskirts
Centred wiper ( still don’t know how I feel about it so subject to change )
Still got the stock rear bumper as I cannot find a cosworth one which is all that’s left to wrap up the exterior side of things

Interior :

D&W steering wheel
Bluetooth Pioneer system ( 2 speakers up front , 2 on parcel shelf along with an Amplifier and sub in the boot , sorry I don’t have the specs on hand )
Mercedes Benz illuminated door sills all around
Zender gear knob
Carbon fibre door cards

Wheels and Suspension :

Staggered 17” Carlsson Evo 3 piece
Front : 8j , 215/40/17
Rear : 10j , 275/40/17

Koni adjustable shocks all around
300e springs all around ( cut - still handles surprisingly well lol )
Front Upper strut brace
Front lower subframe brace
Rear lower subframe brace
Steel Adjustable arms + polybush full rear end
19mm rear anti roll bar
Fully tracked by suspensionsecrets

Engine and drivetrain :

2.6L m103
Stock bottom end
Rebuilt head with 12.9 head bolts ( fresh valves , valve guides , stem seals , stock springs with shims under the spring to raise rev limit to 8000rpm )
Stock headgasket ( fresh of course )
Single turbo conversion
Garrett gt30/35 hybrid ( rated Upto 900hp )
TEmotorsport intake manifold
3” turbo-back exhaust , 1 muffler and Remus backbox
Full EFI conversion , ECUmaster Black
Most power made on dyno - 320whp (~389bhp) NOTE this was on its old budget setup , with this current setup listed I am aiming for 500 at the wheels at least
6spd gearbox from 220cdi w202 I believe or w203
6spd short shifter from Kangaroosteam
260mm organic clutch kit
3.07 185mm diff

I’ve definitely missed a lot but that’s a good overview of it , this is my first car but we have many more 500e’s , w126’s and w124’s/201’s . Those of you who know Talbir ( who’s my dad ) will know the extent of our collection , however I wanted to take a different approach to these cars and I believe I have succeeded so far but still have a long way to go with much more potential to be unlocked , I hope you enjoyed the write up and the pictures and anything you guys would like to know just ask away and I’ll answer 😁 For those of you who do have Instagram or tiktok you can also follow me on there to see more content

Welcome to the forum. Your car is a very interesting build and clearly extensive time and effort has gone into building it.

Your father is somewhat of a legend in the MB forums. He does not frequent the forums as often as we would like, any longer. I trust he is well and keeping busy with his company.

I sold a set of staggered 18’ Lorinser wheels to your father a very long time ago. I dropped them to your house and his son received them (Jarnail?). Perhaps that was you or one of your siblings?

We would also love an update on your father’s E500E extensive fleet, along with an update on his M119 6.2L he built in the US. Did that ever make it into one of his cars?

Best,

Bilal

Hi Bilal , thank you for your words on my car :)

Dad is doing well just very busy with work all the time but the collection has been steadily growing over the years , and yes I think I do remember that - I’m Jarnail :)

I believe we have 10 500e’s now , I will attach pics of all I can find in my camera roll

And that 6.2 is still in the US , dad lost contact with the builder but recently got back in touch so we are currently just sorting shipment etc. But I believe his plan is to put it into the Renntech 040 500e.

In the pictures you’ll see our AMG widebody e60 , the 560e , a white amg , a silver 400e with a 500e bodykit , green brabus , black renntech , blue lorinser , silver zender , and just about able to see a red one with Koenig wheels but we also have a purple Carlsson one and a gold amg one which I can’t find pictures of

Sorry for the very basic descriptions of these cars , I am nothing like my dad when it comes to knowing the exact colour codes and years etc . I only really know the basics about the specs but I do know very extensively how to make them fast like my 190e lol

Enjoy :)

I'm sure your dad can tell us all about how this car drives differently from that car, along with color codes and years. As you know with hand built machines (or even hand built engines as in AMG) no two are exactly alike. It's part of the appeal.

Welcome and cheers,

maw
