Hello, 3 days ago I started hearing some knocking from the engine at low rpm or idle almost sounds like a lose timing chain. And today when I drove it from work limp mode activated and ASR light turned on. Is the timing chain tensioners at fault or could it be something else?
Thanks in advance!

Need more info about the noise. Is it random, or very consistent / even? Does it go away above a certain RPM? Are you certain it's not a tick from hydraulic lifters, especially if your car has plastic oil tubes? A video of the noise would be helpful.

Limp mode is a completely separate issue related to throttle control. You'll have to pull fault codes from the E-GAS module to get an idea of what caused this. Has your ETA ever been rebuilt/replaced, and if so, when?
