Learnt values reset

I have spare EGas computer that I would like to put in and check while driving. Should I reset learnt values for LH module prior to this or it doesn't matter at all?

LH and E-GAS are totally separate. No need to mess with LH adaptation if you are swapping the E-GAS module. However, after installing the E-GAS module, clear any stored codes.

Note that the FSM says after installing a new E-GAS module, you should turn the ignition on for 90 seconds, then turn off, to allow the new E-GAS module to "synch" with the ETA. I sometimes forget to do this and there doesn't appear to be any ill effects.

:matrix:

Well, the spare EGas is bad, it throws out blink code 7 (no CAN comms) and turns on ASR light... Car idles and runs fine, however sounds kinda different... Like softer or something... Anyway, when all the Covid situation settles a bit I'll send it to a shop that rebuilds car electronics and see if they can fix it.
