MB Diagnostics content from a UK independent specialist

I have posted content from this channel before, this is a very interesting insight into using official MB diagnostics with some interesting case studies.

As owners of older Mercs, we are fortunate that we aren't paying $2500 because an LED light is playing up!!!

The radiator "blind" or shutter was a new one for me, a good way to warm up the engine quicker but with all that plastic just in front of the grill robustness is certainly an issue.

R129 UK, Those radiator blinds or shutters seem to be problematic on BMWs. I work at our local MB/BMW/Mini dealer as a driver and have seen several warranty repairs on these blinds. Seems they can bind up and they’re not repairable, have to be replaced. Haven’t seen this repair on any Mercedes to date. But I have to say there is a LOT of warranty work on both brands. Keeps the dealer shops busy. I can’t imagine what MB and BMW budget for warranty costs per vehicle.
