hi everyone,
I was starting my 500 E a couple of days ago after 10 days.it started but did not sound right and after driving for about 15 minutes it stalled in the middle of the street and would not start.a couple of guys helped me push it to the side luckily.i tried to start it many times but kept backfiring like a canon.i called a tow truck and had it towed to an independent MBZ garage.
i had purchased the insulators ,caps ,rotors from beru and spark plugs that i adjusted to 1.0 mm but never got around to change them.the shop was not too happy with me providing the parts but ended up doing it anyway.
i am happy to report (thanks to you guys advise) the car is idling very smooth and no misfire issues. the car had a misfire issue since forever.i notice a lot more power and is running very smooth.thanks again for all the help .
