Its me again....

On to my next project :woot: .

I think my Bowden Cable needs adjusting, my downshifting seems a little lazy. Its probably due to my tinkering with the Bowden Cable when I first got the car in March of this year. I didnt realize what I was doing :drool5: , I thought I was adjusting the throttle cable to improve throttle response as I had done with previous cars.

I found this in the FSM, not sure if this is the correct procedure or if anyone had anything to add...

This was a bad idea on the 500E! Since it has ASR, all the throttle is done fully electric. The Accelerator-Line and stuff is one ther efor two purposes:

1. Limp-Home Mode ("Notlauf") so you can at least mechanical open up to 1/3 of the throttle-flap
2. Giving the Gearbox the correct shift-points based on how much you are pressing the pedal
