For sale is Bosch Headlight/Headlamp Wiper Blades for 124-series
Bosch number: 3 398 113 068
As far as I'm aware Bosch were the OEM-manufacturer for Merecedes-Benz blades so these are identical to OEM ones just diffrent packaging.

Current stock: 15 sets
Price: 55 USD/55€ for a set of 2 (price may vary depending on what I find them for here in Sweden)

No. The period where people can edit their posts is fairly short. It used to be months, but too many people started deleting photos, and it is far too much work to recover them when deleted, so it is just easier to shorten the editing period to a few hours after something is posted. Sorry, but other people ruined this over some years.

For 1992 and 1993 US wipers, the blades, arms, motors and under-lamp panels are different from the 1994 US wipers/blades/motors, which are shared with "Euro" models for 1994 and 1995 (E420, E320).

For North America, yes, every part of the wiper system is different between pre-facelift and facelift.

For the rest of the world, no, all parts of the wiper system are identical for all years of 124 chassis.

@Vita_Vargen - thanks for offering this at a fair price. This is why this board is such a fantastic place ..... all the longer-time members recognize each other and endeavour to help each other in community...... in contrast with the "open-market-free-for-all" where others might seek to corner the market on spare parts and drive up pricing to super high levels in the interest of pure profit (which doesn't really help build community). I would like to purchase a set and I will PM you now. Thanks.

how do you even turn on the little light wipers? Do they activate with the normal wipers?

I think they activate when the main wiper is turned on. If that’s not right someone will chime in.

Headlights on, activate the windscreen wash function. Your headlights will get sprayed and your little wipers will move.

Yup, what Jon said above. Headlights must be ON, and the headlight wiper/wash only operates for 1 fixed cycle each time the main windshield washers are activated.

Tech tip: if you ever have a situation where the headlight washers start spraying when the headlight switch is turned on your problem is with the passenger headlight wiper motor. The motor is stuck over the activation contact for the washer pump. Unplug the wiper motor as a temporary repair.

So, activation of the headlight washer sits in the right side wiper motor. But what is the reason for the headlight wiper motor to be stuck in that position? Is it wear & tear, or any adjustment needed?

Probably dirt and debris, old grease and moisture that gets in over time, causes the motor to slow down, and eventually freeze up. It's somewhat of an exposed position given begin on the front of the car.

From what I understand from previous posts it will work on 94> US Spec and all Euro-spec

I received a set of viper blades last week - many thanks to @Vita_Vargen!

It's nice to get things completed, waiting for the hood leading edge foam centerpiece coming in the next days. And another score on eBay last week was the RH hood leading edge rubber piece 124 880 04 97. Wasn't advertised with the PN but just the part name, so it was just luck that it popped up. In good condition, all locking tabs in place.
