I´ve been part of the board for a couple years but I haven´t posted anything in this part of the board. I got a W124.036 that I inherited a year ago and I am in the process of bringing it back to life. I have posted many threads and read even more threads that have help me so much! I´ll be posting more pics of my 500E in the upcoming days when it is back in the road.
Aside from my W124.036, I also own a W211 that I got a couple months ago after looking for months for the right one. This one was a garage-kept and it is in mint condition. It is a 2004 E320 Avantgarde with only 31,000 miles! I absolutely love it and it feels like new.
It has all the cool features the W211 had back then, including Keyless Go. However, at some point in its life, the PO replaced the factory key fob and did not get a keyless go fob so now that feature is not working. I´m trying to look for the key but I can´t find the right one. I only see the chrome keyless fob available but it is my understanding that it doesn´t work with my car. Right now I have the chrome keyfob without keyless Go and the one I was told I need is the black one with the keyless go feature. However, I´ve been looking for a part number and I can´t find it and online and I´ve also read that the keyless go black fob is NLA.
I was wondering if anyone could help find the right key. Thanks!!
