I took my 290 GD to the Mogfest 3 weeks ago. It is a very cool event with a throwback funk of an earlier era. No official vendors, no advertising, just a lot of European 4WD owners playing in the dirt and camping on a farm. Highly recommended.

This is a Swedish Radio car my friend sourced out of the woods north of the Arctic Circle. Unstoppable.

I tried low range and the locking diffs on the 290: all work properly.

500 km consumed 12 gallons of diesel. Pretty efficient for a big vehicle. But if you want to go fast, take the 500E !
