Power Mirror adjust switch on facelifted cars

I am curious if the mirror switch on 94/95 cars have a light built into them like on a 97 R129. If so, has anyone tried to open up the switch to replace a burnt out bulb.

It's doable but this particular switch is a pain to disassemble because it has a three layers, each with a few sliding dumbbells that are tricky to get back in place. A dab of grease will help to hold them still when you reassemble. On the underside of the switch you'll see four brass pins in each corner. Pry those up, then you can separate the switch halves. The bulb is soldered to the board with the pins (see second picture).
