PRODUCTION ENDED: Reproduction factory data cards

Is there anyone who is interested in getting a nice reproduction data card made? If so, please let me know.

I can do W124, W126, W140, R129, and R107 models.

If @JC220 was happy with his data cards I did, then they MUST be OK enough quality for the rest of you !!
Hi Gerry. Are you still doing these data cards? I just stumbled across this thread. Can I sign up? I'll PM you my VIN. Thanks so much. Very cool project.

Jamie

Gerry, I received them a couple of days ago. They are beautiful. Tell me, is there any purpose in having them other than nostalgia? Do they benefit the vehicle by being included like an owner’s manual? I don’t see how they would but thought I’d ask.

Well, every car came from the stealership with a card pasted into the back cover of its maintenance manual. Some folks without the original owners manual packs assemble a new pack from scratch, and having a repro card helps with that. Otherwise, it's just having a card on hand in case you ever sell your car. Nobody else to my knowledge reproduces these. I've done them for 124s, 126s, 201s, and 107s. I could do a 210 card if needed, probably also a 202 and other models.

OK, I have a backlog of three data cards to do, all of them non-E500E (so they will take considerably more work than usual). Please hold off for a few days on any additional requests. For those who have ordered, I'll be back to you shortly with preliminary draft data cards.

This is a formal notification that I will no longer be reproducing any more data cards. This decision to curtail production is effective immediately, and is permanent.

I appreciate all of the business on this front that I have received from forum members in recent years, and have really enjoyed working on everyone’s data cards.

I believe there is a company out there that is commercially reproducing MB data cards, and I will post their info and details in a follow up post.

I do not know the quality of their reproductions, level of research, quality/weight of materials used, proper design of their cards, and so forth.

The company offering reproduction data cards is called “Stuttgart Studios”

Web site is at Stuttgart Studios Reproduction Window Stickers Home Page

Pricing info:

I believe Stuttgart is only reproducing Monroney window stickers, not data cards...? Different item.

From what I have seen online, they will reproduce anything that they are asked to. Look at their Facebook feed and you will see some stuff that is non-Monroney that they have done.

Somewhere I saw a repro data card that they did, but I couldn't find the photo of it.

For the benefit of the community I wanted to comment on my experience with Stuttgart Studios as I have used them several times in the past with Porsche window stickers and the quality of work is top tier. Also I wanted to post the contact person I deal with and their information in case anyone wants to use them I highly recommend them. They use period correct paper and replicate the font and imagery to an exact match. They also very lightly watermark the finish product so that there is no intent of misrepresenting as the original.

I have no experience with them on W124036 window stickers. They also frame the window sticker if you so choose for a modest premium.
Hope this helps.
