Radwood San Mateo 7/9/22

For those of you interested and local to the Bay Area, Radwood San Mateo is Saturday July 9th. I'm hoping to go, even if only for a bit. Usually there's a pretty good mix of kitschy costumes/fun stuff with some legitimately interesting cars - I saw a number of RennTECH cars I'd not seen before, including a rather cool w201 3.6L m103 car and an 6L m113 w210.

RADwood returns to NorCal in San Mateo. RADwood is a celebration of '80s and '90s automotive lifestyle.

I went to my first Radwood last year. My advice? Do not miss it.

Keep in mind that Radwood sold to Hagerty recently, so a lot of that spirit is now gone given it is run by a larger company. The had one at Greenwich recently, which was kind of bizarre. Nothing says 1980s fun like the one of the richest zip codes in the country.

Hmm. Last year was a really great experience. I hope Hagerty will be able to maintain the appeal of the event.
