Functional. Sellling for for parts. Its good for the chrome buckets if yours happens to have bad chrome (happens when improperly cleaned) and the lenses for a non-500E if yours happens to be cracked.

But actually they're functional driver side works with the euro plug/wiring including daytime running light, little tab is broken but functional with some electric tape, the passenger side has the 4 pins but kind of works when i moved the wire on harness- no daytime running light.

$200 shipped CONUS.

Moving to Off-Topic as these headlights are NOT intended for E500E applications and are NOT E500E-specific parts.

Photos are quite a bit tinier than typical photos posted to this forum.

Another off topic topic. On the actual lens assembly only. Seems to me the only difference between the 500E lens and these non-500E is the chrome plating. So if one were to "chrome plate" the grey areas wouldn't they be exactly like the 500E? Aside from part numbers maybe or is the fluting and glass different?

fluting of the glass is different. Covered ad nauseam on this forum
There are NUMEROUS differences between US-spec E500 lamps, and "Euro-spec" E500 lamps, despite a close physical appearance. As well as differences between US-spec E500 and US-spec E320/E420 headlamps.

As mentioned, all of this has been discussed ad nauseum here on this forum over the years.

- interior of E500 (US and Euro) lamps is silvered
- E500/E420 lamps have an air tube in the lower rear for air circulation [venting, due to "ram air" intake around headlights - Ed.]
- E500 lamps (and separately, E500E Euro lamps) have a different glass fluting pattern than US-spec E320/420 lamps
- E500E lamps have a "pencil-beam" driving light on the inboard side; foglights are located in front spoiler. Pedestrian lamps have foglight inboard.

Of course, 500E US-spec lamps and "Euro-spec" 500E lamps are completely different animals, and in no way related.

The bullets above would generally also apply to 500E headlamps.

Even 500E US-spec lamps, though similar in appearance, are totally different than pedestrian 300E/400E/260E US-spec headlights.
