I thought I just share some snow photos I just found. You hardly see our cars with snow anymore.

I bought this E500 Limited in 1997 with 45'000km. The kids gave it the name "Little Brother". Now we have cracked the 365'000km and are fixing up the body work etc.

The photos were taken on Oberalppas which is 2044m high. We have this tradition that when every year the first snow comes, me and they boys go up the mountain pass and have some fun. On 5th November 2017 we took the last time Little Brother and it was so far the last time I fitted chains on any car. The tradition still exists, but now we take a our W461

Awesome! I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, but the weather was beautiful freezing -20C.

The good thing is that you don’t have salt on your streets. Need to sometime plan a winter trip all the way north.

Absolutely Yes! Those are too old for proper grip if driving daily but ok for random drive on winter time with museum status car.

I have on my W120 still some NOKIA tires - was the most amazing winter tire I ever had when we did the Winter Challenge in 2001. Ok I have not mounted them since then.
