(Just ask me and I will tell you my experience directly with anyone I've dealt with)
Since buying ( rather than leasing) my first Mercedes Benz (1980 SLC) the one consistent challenge has been getting the car repaired PROPERLY. At first it was realized that a lot of information is a closely guarded state secret, or seemed to be. Then it was finding a reputable person to fix the common ailments like antiquated fuel injections systems. Anyone who owns an older Mercedes Benz knows what I am referring to. Many dealerships service centers will not look at anything older than 1998 or 1995 or something in that range. But there is hope... at least in the Twin Cities.
A couple of years ago I was in my local dealership and saw a beautiful S220 Coupè. It was the only time I had seen an older Mercedes in a dealerships service area. But a couple of weeks ago that changed! I walked in to the parts department area and saw a beautiful red W113 and a white R107. Today it was the same W113, a M120 W140 and a 81-85 W126 (SE).
So I am guessing the word is out and Mercedes Benz of Saint Paul has a guru to service these older cars! Here are some pictures for all to enjoy:
