Not really. They’re just putting that price there as a place holder. They probably don’t have any. Or they’re doing what you’re doing, trying to capitalize on scarcity.

I bought a pair of Depo clears in 2011 and if I recall they were like $50 each. If someone wants to pay $400 for them I still have them in great shape in a box somewhere. I retired them when I bought some Magnetti Marelli (during the short time when they owned Hella, I think it was), and they were like $120 for the pair. A friend was CFO at the time, is how I remember — albeit vaguely.

So GLWS but you might also just take a hint.

It looks like it's generally accepted to run cosmic pricing nowadays. It's not illegal, it's an open market free to post whatever asking price - but we're also free to express opinions about it. Keep that eBay-horse-trade-attitude where it belongs, I'm just saying.
