W140/C140 Rare Color Combinations

Hello Everyone,

I would like to ask if there is a registry of W140/C140 Color combinations and the number of cars produced per color.

I have an example here: in August 1996, the LEGEND Bruno Sacco order a 1of1 Custom color C140 CL500 Facelift. A Light green similar to the color used in the C140 initial drawing he made in 1986. The car also featured a light beige interior with extended leather details which included the air vents!

Maybe if Bruno Sacco's C140 was a 1-of-1 order it won't show up there - but I would put my money on the single produced '223 light green' unit of MY 1997 on the attached picture.

The '256 Crystal Green' being the other option, although this colour is know to us from a couple of 036s.

Thank you @Otrebla49 ! Very useful list, and yes I think this is the car as the list does not differentiate between W140 and C140.

Another special color was the Yellow W140s ordered by a German business man, but now I see a few shades of yellow were produced.

Coming back to this thread, and our phrase of the day: AUSSTATTUNG NACH PA I

Our newest addition is somewhat a mystery. 19 W140/C140 were build in this color, while the ratio of Sedans to coupes remains unknown, as only 6% of the total 140 production were coupes, could this car be a 1of1 or 1of2 in this color combination?. Upholstery is another story, as this car has a code I have not seen before, with the phrase "AUSSTATTUNG NACH PA I" next to it.

More details later, but interesting to note that this is a Dutch car as well!
