WANTED Wanted - M104 Engine wire harness - 1244402933

Lee, there are a few on eBay... click here. Current offerings are starting at around $825 with shipping (plus sales tax). That particular harness was used one year only (1995 USA model year) so it's a bit harder to find.

Hello gents,
Because of my troubles with ignition I had to replace it too, I bought a new harness here in Germany by a specialist which is producing also for Mercedes Benz as far I understood.

Kurth Classics Autoparts

My M104.996 engine harness cost me around 850€.
One important thing about the harnesses are the plugs at the ends.
Here in Germany are some small shops they offering a moderate refurbishing price when you send your own harness, so they can use the wire end plugs to reproduce a new one.
This is also my plan with my old one as a spare part.
If there is a car electrical shop may they can build you one and solder the ends with the plugs you got.
Most important things are first knowledge to remove the plugs from the ends second is the correct diameter length of the wires to make a good an equal resistance value with the ecu communication like the original wires as final to label the plugs for correct positions on the engine.
