What's Up with Stern Garage?

Hi There.

Ive been trying to email stern garage in germany and they do respond by asking what they can help me with, but thats where it stops when im askin about the old shop how i can order their parts etc. no response. seams very unprofesional. the old shop seamed to disapaer in december 2024

its been almost a year now with the shop not working either, your are beeing redirected to some sort of mics. sites sometimes casino sometimes anti visrus cormorcials.

so does anyonee here know what happened? i need several parts from them bushing kits as im completly renovating the underbody suspension linkage subframe etc. on my 500E and i want to go OE but some of their stuff looks better and some OE is no longer avalable

what do we know about this matter with Rafael and Stern Garage becasue with that big of a shop it seams very odd he dossent even went out and made a statement about what happened and he just kind of vansihed from videos as well afterwards. did he get into trouble anyone knows anything?

Well, at least you got a reply. I emailed them twice three years ago (in English and in German languages) about their radiator and never heard back. I think categorizing them as unprofessional is an understatement…

Of course it all goes bad with these investors, like everything else. The end game of capitalism.

In some recent videos by Levella, he does still do some restomods project for example the W116 and made a widebody with M113k engine.
I also tried to Email but received no reply. That time was around after his W124 reveal with V12 engine and massive overpriced.

But ye, I have no clue. Many people is wondering the same.

I doubt they gave small money. So to have it pause with no answer in more, than 1.5 years nah. There's, a long long way for that maybee.

I think it's a twist now. And Raphael can't continue his works as they bought all the rights to do so.
Something like that and they one part or another would have said something alreaddy by now, this is scetcy as in something went sidewayes for both parts.
but im surpriced at least Raphael aren't coming clear on some level. He's legendary build, pasion and all. He can't just have given up all not wanting to come forward.
Why keep it all in the shades. Dossent make, any sense.

nobody knows exaktly. Maybe the sell was an escape for whatever Finacial oder other Gouverment org??

I can Talk now only for mee.When i selling such a good working company for money.I take the money and old my Probs with
everthing blowing away and i go i a warm nice Land with blue Water and white Sand .Tht it is .
and ok i can make some Pictures for Social Media not more.
but here .selling and a belly flop. All involved are have make a bad Bussines maybe.

I think they might have become a victim of their own success. About a year ago I had emailed them about a quote for an AMG 6L engine refurbishment and they didn’t respond. So I called them and talked to Raphael. He just waived the whole thing off as beneath him and said that they only have a few people in the shop and that they were dedicating their precious time to full on restomods.

It takes effort to do quality engine refurbs, it takes effort to have a good online shop, it takes effort to do frequent youtube videos and it seems like all these efforts are not a priority for them anymore.

If you abandon your roots it begs the question whether you are prepared for the cost and drama that comes with scaling up. I certainly wish them good luck in making that leap

I think that was part marketing stunt, and part "we don't want to sell it". Seems silly to me as it mostly generates negative sentiment.

I don't understand how he's still making any money, if he's not doing any work.
