WANTED WTB 034 front sway bar bushings 1243235685

Nuts. I didn't know these went NLA. The stock 034 front bar is 26.5mm, and both the 26.0 and 26.5mm bushings are NLA.

Next size up (27.0mm) appears to still be available, 1243235785, and may suffice with a layer of heat shrink tube over the bar in the bushing area to take up the 0.5mm space?

If anyone has a pair of OE/Genuine bushings available for the 400E front bar, please let me know. In the meantime I'll probably try a pair of the larger ones and see how that works. There are aftermarket bushings available but that's a last resort.

Oh, wow. This is getting interesting and sad at the same time...

Maybe consider buying set of polyurethane bushings?
The typical problem with poly is noise (squeaks). Yeah, you can apply grease but how often will you need to do this?

The OE/Genuine bushings have a Teflon liner to eliminate noise. The aftermarket bushings do not have this. For the moment, buying a different size (smaller is better, if available) will work.
