7-1-2006. Hollywood, FL. eBay, 154000mi. Only one photo. Shows "FAB" rims with Pirelle P-0 tires. Tinted windows. UPDATE 9-9-06: On eBay again with mileage 149100??? Located in Ft. Lauderdale FL. Aftermarket wheels look weird; tinted all around; aftermarket stereo; aftermarket CD changer in stock location; cracked/faded wood; cracked rear-decklid trim piece. Average example overall. Asking BIN $10,900. UPDATE 9-23-06: Notes on 500e.com from member "stand4x" say: I do not know anything about the seller, but the car is going to be a major headache for someone. It appears to have been in multiple accidents with poor body repair. There is rust bubbling through in a number a places (especially on the roof - car may have been rolled). The pictures make the wood look nicer than it really is, A/C blows warm, dash is cracked, the hideous wheels are of the wrong offset and they are oxidized as well - you would not get the price of a new set of stock wheels for the ones currently on the car. From the way the rest of the paint (faded and clear coat burned in numerous spots) and interior looks, the car appears to have been beat on and not loved. I believe a forum member here almost purchased the car but passed on it after a shocking pre-purchase inspection. This is a very early car, built in mid 1991, using a regular W124 steering wheel and it does not have a "Check Engine" light.
