9-4-2004. Ross, OH. eBay, 37000mi. Billed as one of the most pristine examples out there; photos seem to back it up. UPDATE: on AutoTrader.com Oct-04, 37,507 miles, asking $29,995. UPDATE 5-26-05: On eBay with 37,500 miles, asking $32,900 buy it now. Now in Dallas Texas. UPDATE 12-7-06: On eBay with 39K miles listed, seller Ron Susser motors in NYC. Seller says:It is being offered with an incredibly low 39,XXX pampered miles. I have yet to see one with such low mileage and in such incredible condition. This beauty has been Mercedes dealer maintained and is up to date with all its service needs. It includes a Mercedes phone in the front with Mercedes extention in the rear (how cool is that?) as well as new Michelin Pilot tires - it is ready to go and needs nothing. The current owner recently added a new battery, did a complete fluid change and had some minor stone chips professionally touched up. Most 500E's have high mileage because they are such a thrill to drive. I suspect that the original owner of this car did not take full advantage of the joy of driving this car but as they say: "his lose is your gain." This is truly a rare find.
