1-27-2015. Atlanta, GA. 500Eboard, 43130mi. Car purchased Jan 2015 at Scottsdale auction by 500Eboard member Al Lydon. Car lower cladding had been repainted to gray, and Al will repaint it proper white. Says car is pristine. Paid $31K for it. Private message says, "Gerry, The 1994 E500 I bought in Scottsdale a couple weeks ago is: WDBEA36E4RC003047 Polar White 149, Grey Interior 278? Mileage 43,130 Paid $31,000 I am the 3rd owner - bought from Albert Mengert who had owned the car for many years. I will PM you the original owner's name from the books I have at home. Car has been in Arizona its whole life, although the car has been titled and registered in Oregon by Al Mengert as he has his Summer house in Oregon. The original owner painted the lower cladding a dark grey from the original Polar White (cladding was monochrome and not Marble White). I will be repainting the cladding and bumpers back to PW within the next 2 months. Car has been garaged its entire life - the anodized strips and door handles are original color and not faded and the original headliner is perfect. The car never saw the brutul Arizona Summers as it was garaged while Al was in Oregon. Please don't post any details on the Forum yet for various reasons. Just wanted to give you the data for your database. Can you help on the VIN? Are there different sequences for E500E's? Seems like a low sequential #. Al"
