Where do I find new flex disc and transmission mount procedures?

Received new flex discs and tranny mount today.
Does anyone know where to find replacement procedures on this site? ie. . . tourqe settings ect.:roll:

BTW: for the rear flex disc on the 036, do people drop/suspend the diff or do you drop the exhaust & shields to gain access to the center-support bearing, and loosen the propeller shaft ?

Unbolt the heat shield and you can just barely get a socket on the center bearing support bolts to loosen them, which will allow the prop shaft to slide forward. You can drop the entire exhaust if you want.

That advice was the ticket!

Note: removing the exhaust rubber hangers for the cat and center resonator (keep rear muffler hanger), and dropping (not removing) cat heat-shielding, allowed me to get to remove the two bolts of the center shaft bearing support. It's nice to have access to a lift, tranny support, and dead-mans support.

I also removed one leg of the propeller-shaft safety hoop on the fuel-pump side, to allow for a better angle of attack.

This combined with removing the tranny support mount AND the front flex disc (I'm replacing both), gave me enough room to remove the rear flex-disc.

FWIW, I also mark where the orientation of all flanges, so they are put-together in the same orientation when removed, and I also put a little anti-seize on the flex-disc metal shafts so they don't "freeze" onto the flanges. The Lemforder's bolts didn't come with thread-lock on them, so I did that as well.

I thought all the nuts are metal lock nuts- no thread locker needed.. but maybe my bolts are different.

The OE discs include all-metal compression locknuts. I got an aftermarket kit (SGF disc, unknown bolt origin) that came with Nylock type locknuts. Doesn't hurt to add threadlock as well...

Yes, the Lemforder's came with all-metal use-once compression nuts. Threadlock is just cheap insurance, and also acts as an anti-seize.

Anyone have a source for the red QA pen the Factory used on the nuts to show they have been torqued/inspected ?

Perhaps I should find the same pen used for roller-coaster nuts so you know if the bolt/nut has moved relative to its original location. I've noticed that Universal Theme parks alternate between red and green. One of the facilities guys said they change some hardware every 5-years. The color-code allows them to know at what cycle the hardware has been changed.

Any bolt store should sell "torque stripe" paint. It is available in multiple colors. In aviation, the inspector witnesses each bolt being torqued and strips each bolt. We use a yellow at work and it's just a thick lacquer.
It is a small 1/2 oz tube like the Loctite is sold in the stores. Go to your local Fastenal- I'm sure they sell it(but they have a min purchase of $15).
