Another 500E was found in the land of the rising sun, and this time, an early production UK-delivered unit that was first registered in Japan in June 2003, according to the seller's site. The obvious modification includes the instrument cluster replacement from Miles to aftermarket Kilometres, the radio unit, from Becker to Technics, which is obvious due to the band differences in Japan and the additional wiring for EXH Temp indicator on the Cluster, in accordance with Japanese emission regulations. Another one of the 29 UK-delivered units has been found.

I can't help but notice that many Japanese dealers have 応相談 or POA-type prices on their listings, especially on high-end cars like the 500E and others, which indicates that the seller has an exorbitant selling price for this car.
