The Mercedes-Benz 500 E, produced between 1990 and 1995, is considered a milestone among the brand's high-performance vehicles. Based on the W124 series, the model received extensive technical modifications that clearly set it apart from its production brothers. To implement these changes, a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine was installed, which required a complete overhaul of the chassis, bodywork and powertrain. A special feature of the 500 E is the close cooperation with Porsche in development and production. Due to the elaborate adjustments, assembly was not carried out in the regular Mercedes-Benz plants, but partly in Porsche's production facilities.

However... the USD is strong right now, this car is old enough to be brought over and some of those options deficiencies may not matter depending upon where you're bringing it. So there's opportunity.

Mirror rubber, interior wood and strut mounts all indicate a fairly posh life.

Wow!! This is the exact color combo like mine.My two front seats were upgraded to matching dark blue leather recaros. This color looks so good in person and the interior is special.

I’m not 100% unbiased, but that is an amazing colour for our cars.

The houndstooth is so cool, and in my opinion the most desirable seat material. Leather wears well, but is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The cloth grips way better too. And you still get leather on the major wear points. Love it!
