This may not belong here, but the engine is from a 1992 500E.

Looks like it would be fun, if it were finished, though my understanding is that a C36 swap is a better way to go. This is most likely a parts car.

Motor swap was done by the former Eurotech mercedes garage in Newark, have info from the previous owner.Body is straight and nice no dents, very minor clear coat peeling few spots. Very nice interior no tears on seats no cracks on dash. Original wheels with good tires. Clear CA title. Located in pleasanton $3600 OBO

Yeah, it certainly does say "Body is straight and nice no dents" (unless the hatch door is not a part of the car), well, at least it's in the pictures

It's a shame they're starting with such a rough base. That wood and gauge cluster look mighty sun worn. For $3k I'd be up for trying it if it were otherwise solid, especially if it were white over blue.
