This may not belong here, but the engine is from a 1992 500E.

Looks like it would be fun, if it were finished, though my understanding is that a C36 swap is a better way to go. This is most likely a parts car.

VIN = WDBEA90D4MF173130

Ad says the body has no dents, but it does in the back. Ad photo attached.

Yeah, it certainly does say "Body is straight and nice no dents" (unless the hatch door is not a part of the car), well, at least it's in the pictures

Could be a fun project for someone (or a nightmare of fixing somebody's mess)

AutoCheck makes it look like ~175kmi.

Wonder what the engine serial number is, with that Gerry could figure out the donor 036.

Saw this on Nor Cal Craigslist- Wanna finish someone else's project?

It's a shame they're starting with such a rough base. That wood and gauge cluster look mighty sun worn. For $3k I'd be up for trying it if it were otherwise solid, especially if it were white over blue.

Looks like it just needs a couple of hoses to be connected, and she's ready to roll.

Heck, they've already got the AMG badges on the fenders. What more could it possibly need?
