Edit: VIN = WDBEA36E1NB742280
1992 Mercedes 500E first and most powerful year of the legend.
Owned by a former Mercedes dealership service advisor, correct mechanical care, Royal Purple synthetic oil every 3k, OE Mercedes parts always used, H and R lowering springs, Bilstein shocks, Eisenmann RET sport exhaust.
The negative, not currently running, because I hired a former MB dealership tech to swap the original and working crank position sensor, and he broke off the plug in its housing, so the trans may need to be removed to replace the sensor. New Jersey rusted mostly front fenders, original paint is shot, and the a/c was warm. Drivetrain, suspension, and brakes performed as new.
The car has been parked for about 8 months, my daily driver for the last 9 years, and I cannot stand to see it parked. Selling with the original 16-inch wheels with worn tires, not the 19-inch Porsche 911 Turbo wheels/tires pictured.
Probably the poorest cosmetic condition 500E in the country, at least I hope so, but also the least expensive, only $7500 or $6500 without Eisenmann rear muffler
